Sean Saxon
Executive Director & Founder
Sean has in excess of thirty years of investment banking and funds management experience, gained domestically and overseas.
Sean holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Prior to launching iportfolio, Sean held senior executive positions with Bankwest including his last role as founder and inaugural Managing Director of Bankwest’s funds management subsidiary BWA Managed Investments. He was also the key license holder for BWA Managed Investments and a Responsible Officer for Bankwest.
During his tenure at Bankwest Sean held positions on Bankwest’s Retail Executive Board and Asset and Liability Committee.
He was also a board member of the HBOS Australia Staff Superannuation Plan and BWA Managed Investments.

Rod O’Dea
Non-Executive Director
Rod’s experience includes senior roles in banking, treasury, superannuation and funds management for over thirty years.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Curtin University, a Bachelor of Finance (Accounting) from Edith Cowan University and an Associate Diploma in Agriculture.
Prior to launching Ellann Finance in 2011, his own finance broking firm, Rod held senior positions with Bankwest, Bankers Trust , Grange Securities and Lehman Brothers Ltd.
Rod is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds in Australia (ASFA) and a Member of the Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).
Rod is also a Director of Variety WA and the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, two not-for profit organisation he actively supports.

Aaron Ross-Connolly
Executive Director
Aaron has been an investment manager in Australia for over twenty years and has extensive experience in financial planning, stock broking and funds management.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Aaron worked in the resources and engineering sector, where he held a number of positions with international oil and gas companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
Aaron is currently Chairman and Director of RM Black Morgan Management Pty Ltd, a Perth-based wealth management business with its own Australian Financial Securities License (AFSL).
He continues to work as a Private Client Adviser with a particular focus on strategic planning, self-managed super funds, and direct equities where he is responsible for over 300 client accounts and manages over $250 million in client funds.
He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
